SOLES – Summer Online Learning Enrichment Sequencing

Objectives

-          To encourage continued use of the target language during summer months.

-          To promote continued exposure to the target language and culture(s).

-          To allow opportunities for the development of aural and oral skills.

-          To provide authentic and engaging text(s) to encourage the continued development of reading comprehension and retention of vocabulary.

-          To create real-life scenarios that encourage continued development and maintenance of writing skills.

-          To provide opportunities and contacts that challenge students to serve native speakers outside of the classroom.

To provide travel opportunities for students (at least every other summer).
