Spanish II - Sub Plans for Wednesday & Thursday

Ladies -

After you finish your quiz you should watch the videos below in their entirety. Some of these are new concepts, so take notes & pay close attention! We will review this when I get back.




Now that you have watched the videos, take some time to practice those irregular verbs. Please note that I have included "ser" & "ir" in this practice.

Once you have completed these activities, you should practice conjugating verbs in the preterit tense at www.conjuguemos.com. Please work on sections 8&9 under "Spanish Verbs".

AP Spanish IV - Substitute Plans

Ladies, due to senior service, most of our class will be in the auditorium with their presentations. Please use this time to review the reference pages that you were given at the beginning of the year. These include helpful vocabulary, transition phrases, useful idioms, etc.

Spanish II - A Day Substitute Plans

Welcome back, ladies!

You should each work individually on the following assignments. Everything should be completed before class on 1.8.13. Please use your time wisely!

1A - Students should meet in the LIBRARY.
4A - Students will work in the LANGUAGE LAB.

1. I know it's been a while since you've really been able to sit down and look at the preterit. Please review regular verbs & -ar spelling change verbs. 

2. Take notes over -ir stem change verbs. This is a new preterit topic, so pay close attention to what you are writing! Don't worry, we will review this on Tuesday!

3. Write & define ALL common -ir stem change verbs. You will receive a homework grade for this assignment.

4. Practice conjugating 10 of the common -ir stem change verbs from your list. You may choose any of the verbs as long as the example has not already been completed for you in the notes [dormir, sentir, pedir, etc.]. All verbs are e to i stem change verbs with the exception of dormir & morir. 

5. Using the information you gained from your notes, please complete & submit the form in the blog post below [posted 1.3.13]. Be sure to check your accents!
